Dumper Gulliver
An ultra-heavy-duty open-pit dump truck designed for transporting large volumes of rock in open-pit mines. It features a reinforced frame structure, a front-mounted operator's cab, a rear dump body, a heavy-duty chassis with large pneumatic tires, front-wheel steering, and a hydraulic body lift mechanism. The truck is designed for use on heavy-duty access roads with steep grades and significant rolling resistance. A 20-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 105 liters and a power output of 3,000 kW serves as the power plant. Torque is transmitted via a torque converter and a seven-speed planetary gearbox, which automatically selects the gear ratio depending on load and speed. Drive is directed to the rear wheels, and the powerful transmission provides high traction during acceleration and climbing inclines. Oil-filled brakes on all four wheels and an automatic braking system are used to stop a fully loaded vehicle. The body is lifted by two two-stage hydraulic cylinders, allowing for rapid unloading of rock. The rated lifting capacity is 365 tons, and the gross operating weight is 625 tons. The overall length of the machine is 15 meters, the width is 9.5 meters, and the height is 6.5 meters. The maximum speed of a loaded dump truck is 65 km/h.
