Milling CNC machine
A 3-axis vertical CNC machining center designed for milling, drilling, and threading operations on parts made of metal and other structural materials. The machine features a rigid bed, a vertical column, a moving table with T-slots, a spindle head, a CNC system, an automatic tool magazine, and a coolant supply system. Working travels are 765 mm (X-axis), 410 mm (Y-axis), and 510 mm (Z-axis), with the table designed to support a uniformly distributed load of up to 1,365 kg. The direct-drive, liquid-cooled spindle (ISO 40 taper) reaches speeds of up to 8,100 rpm and delivers a maximum power of 22.5 kW, with a peak torque of 122 N·m at 2,000 rpm. Machining is performed by rotating the cutting tool within the spindle while simultaneously moving the tool and workpiece along three coordinate axes. The control system receives the machining program and sets movement coordinates, feed rates, and spindle speeds; servo drives then position the machine components according to these parameters. An automatic carousel-type tool magazine holds 20 tools; tool changes occur automatically based on program commands, enabling sequential execution of various operations without manual retooling. Coolant is supplied to the work zone from a 210-liter tank to dissipate heat from the cutting area and remove chips. Maximum rapid traverse speeds along the X, Y, and Z axes reach 25.5 m/min, while the maximum cutting speed is 16.5 m/min. The machine is enclosed in a protective housing featuring viewing windows, containing the table, spindle, and work zone. The machine integrates a rigid mechanical structure, a high-speed spindle, axis servo drives, automatic tool changing, cooling, and programmed control into a single production complex.
