Robotank RT-1

The RT-1 robotic tank is an unmanned tracked combat vehicle with an unmanned turret and an all-electric propulsion system. The armored hull contains a battery pack, power electronics, and two axial traction electric motors. Each motor independently drives its own track through a planetary gearbox, providing separate steering for the left and right sides, forward and reverse movement, turns, and a U-turn. The electric drive integrates the battery pack, speed controllers, electric motors, and gearboxes into a compact transmission system. The central part of the hull houses a rotating turret with an automated weapons system. The primary armament is a 125 mm smoothbore cannon with an automatic loader and 50 rounds of ammunition. Guided missiles can also be launched through the barrel. An automatic machine gun mount with a 7.62 mm machine gun and 1,000 rounds of ammunition is installed for engaging light targets and UAVs. The electric powerplant has no exhaust system and emits no hot gases, reducing the vehicle's thermal signature. With the powerplant deactivated, the RT-1 can remain in standby mode for extended periods while still being able to quickly resume operation. The absence of a crew and associated systems has reduced the vehicle's interior volume and weight compared to comparable manned tanks. The RT-1 combines an armored tracked chassis, automated weapons, and an independent electric drive into a single robotic platform.
